CONGRATULATIONS!
The Allegan County Fair funded its 29th Scholarship Program. Allegan County Schools were contacted and after reviewing the applications 3 were selected. We would like to congratulate the following recipients and thank all applicants for their time and effort.
Travis Boeskool graduated from Hamilton High School in 2021 and attends Michigan State University. Travis is studying Animal Science with a minor in Agribusiness. His goal is to further his swine production and be a Herd Health Supervisor.
Travis showed Swine for 10 years at the fair.
Tally Laarman is graduating from Hopkins High School in May 2024. Tally is planning to attend Greenville University to study Agricultural Business with an aspiration to achieve an Equine Dentistry Business. Tally has shown Sheep, Goats, Rabbits, and still exhibits.
Jessica Harvey graduated from Hamilton High School in 2022 and attends Albion College. Jessica is studying Biology – pre-veterinary Medicine. Her goal is to become a Veterinarian. Jessica spent 9 years showing Beef, Swine, & Sheep at the Allegan County Fair.
